Why choose this programme?
This one-year programme is for newly arrived refugees in Norway. It consists of courses within natural sciences and informatics at master's level, as well as Norwegian language courses.
This programme allows you to choose the courses you are most interested in. You may start with courses in a new field of study, or you may choose courses to expand previous education.

The academic content and the learning outcomes of the one-year programme will depend on which courses you choose. See "Course content" and "Learning outcomes" on each course description for further information.
In combination with other education, the one-year programme can provide you with valuable academic knowledge and experience. The one-year programme is not a formal degree.
In-person attendance
Please be aware that all our courses within Natural sciences and Informatics requires in-person attendance at the University of Oslo.
