Industrial Ecology (Master's Programme)
Industrial Ecology is the study of flows of materials and energy in industrial and consumer activities and the effects these flows have on the environment. It considers influences of economic, political, regulatory, and social factors on our global use and transformation of resources.
Industrial ecology consists of sustainable development, climate change mitigation and circular economy. You will learn data science and systems thinking to analyze and discuss core aspects of sustainability such as climate mitigation, energy and resource use, circular economy, and biodiversity.
There is an increasing demand for candidates able to analyze and discuss sustainability, and to outline what this means for products, companies, and public decision-makers.
