Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (Master's Programme)
The Master of Science in Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry is a two-year interdisciplinary program involving the Department of Biology and the Department of Chemistry. A Masters in Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry creates a vital link between Environmental Toxicology and Environmental Chemistry. The main focus of the Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry Masters is the fate and effects of pollutants, and how they become distributed and behave in the environment (including air, water, soil) and how they interact with organisms both on a local, and global, scale. Embarking on this study, you’ll acquire skills, and experience, which are attractive to a wide range of employers both in the public and private sectors. The programme offers the opportunity to experience one semester studying in Svalbard (The University Centre in Svalbard, UNIS), an archipelago situated in the heart of the Arctic.
